Louisiana LGBT FIlm Festival started this petition to FilmFreeway Admins

FIlmFreeway admins stated they will not allow our event to be public on their website. They did not give a specific reason for their committee to deny us!

We need YOUR help changing their mind. LOUISIANA is ready for this Film Festival. New Orleans, is ready for this film festival! Are YOU ready? :)

We have our wonderful venue: LGBT Community Center of New Orleans

Why is this meaningful? We, the organizers are seek to showcase the voice and lens of the LGBTQIA community with in Louisiana and the southeast USA region! OUR VOICES WILL BE HEARD! We stand in solidarity with ALL members of the community and promote awareness for a host of issues including but not limited to LGBT rights, homelessness, trans-awareness, and a larger solidarity campaign with all those who care about human rights! LBGT rights are HUMAN RIGHTS!  We will not be silenced.

Trans  rights activist Chloe Deloach Davis was relentlessly bullied, raped, and beaten by individuals in Alabama, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. She died in June of 2018. Her death will NOT be in vain.

Tobin D. Clarke who was an active member in the LGBTQIA community died in February of 2019. Her love and support is a shining example of what we can aspire to be.

We create this film festival in their honor.
