Safe in Sussex have provided refuges since 1977. They are the only provider of refuge in West Sussex. The refuge houses women who fear for the life of themselves and their children.

Our safe houses provide practical and emotional support for women and children helping them to re-build their lives free from abuse.

West Sussex County Council have announced proposals that from April 2019 they will cut all their Housing  Related Support Budget which will close refuges. This will be decided on Thursday, 27th September 2018.

This petition demands West Sussex County Council reject the proposal.
