Keep All Printed Press free at Horsham Library

From January 1st 2018 Horsham Library users will only have access to printed copies of the Times newspaper, as the library service continues to make cuts to its budget. Horsham Labour Party believes that this is a budget cut too far! Libraries are an essential public service and must be a place that offers everyone free access to a range of newspapers covering a full range of editorial and journalistic opinion.
To offer only the Times in the printed form from January 2018 will seriously limit access to a wide range of views and will undermine our democracy.
We the undersigned call upon Horsham Library and West Sussex County Council to reverse this decision.
