In recent years the abuse towards animals in NZ has been increasing. The news story this morning of the pony being stabbed 41 times was the last straw for many people.

The people of NZ have had enough and demand the government to change the law to give harsher sentences to people who abuse or mistreat animals. 

With every crime there must be a consequence, not a slap on the wrist but a true consequence that reflects the nature of that crime.
