Following the Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement yesterday evening, all schools, colleges and universities need to be closed with immediate effect. With A Level and GCSE exams being cancelled, it is unfair that university students  are expected to continue having exams with inadequate teaching taken place this semester. 

This petition is asking Loughborough University to consider cancelling Semester 1 exams as the amount of stress brought by the third national lockdown is unbearable, affecting student’s mental health negatively. It would be too overwhelming for students to perform their best in exams during this difficult times.
