The quality of our masters experience has been greatly reduced as a result of the Covid-19 crisis. Firstly, all learning content and assignments have now been adjusted, so that no face-to-face guidance and teaching is required, and all final projects have also been greatly compromised, with students having to complete less sophisticated, externally based projects. Secondly, with many students now out of work due to the pandemic, financial insecurity regarding rent, food and other living expensive will undoubtedly increase. However, there is currently little to no support for masters students available. 

Despite these changes being no fault of the university, it cannot be argued that the value of our masters has greatly been reduced. We all accepted paying maximal tuition fees to attend Loughborough based on receiving an education of similar value. This is no longer the case anymore and tuition fees require reevaluation. On that note, cancellation of the third tuition fee instalment, I believe, would provide suitable compensation to address these issues and provide financial support during these uncertain times.
