Stop building high density housing in Arcola
Stop building high density housing in Arcola
Why this petition matters
Loudoun County is holding public hearing for the planned construction of high density Housing in the old Arcola School and the Private property across the street. About 300 residential units of various sizes will be constructed if this plan is approved.
The neighborhoods along Stone Springs Blvd will be impacted by these large number of units. Potential impacts we could see are:
1) Significant increase in traffic on a road that is already severely clogged during rush hour.
2) With the schools in the area already at max capacity, additional high density housing will create a potential for schools for the area to be over capacity. Impacting quality of education for the kids.
This petition is to voice the concerns of the people living on Stone Springs Blvd due to the direct impact of these proposals. We object to this plan and ask the County to not build these homes in this area.
