Many People in LA drive but many don’t. In a city that creates Stars and also has hefty taxes, why can’t there be reliable transportation?. Most commutes by drive are under 30-45 minutes. The transit commute not only triples the time but most don’t follow schedule and Drivers are uneducated and unaware of stops or areas they work. The Buses don’t stop at all stops and often skip stops if they’re not paying attention to commuters. People are more than discouraged and don’t even consider options or advocacy. A city that can make million dollar movies can and should also provide adequate transit as well as a hiring spree to add staff and convenience. Buses shouldn’t run an hour apart and natives shouldn’t feel pressured by capitalistic values to own car. Pedestrian deserve better, they still add to the value and economy of Los Angeles. What does it take to get the respect we deserve. Why do less fortunate communities get swept under the rug, although they employ many city and service workers. LA deserves better, Pedestrians deserve better. Cars are nice but shouldn’t be the determining factor to your travel or productivity. Transportation, Health care and Food are all essentials that every human should have access to!.
