Los Angeles Pollution problem

Los Angeles Pollution problem
Why this petition matters
(This is for a school project....Do not take this seriously) Oil leaks from mining and ships with enormous volumes of oil that have sunk into the water are two other things that might pollute the water. There are many more things that might affect the water, but these are the ones that stand out to me the most. There are certain natural phenomena that can create pollution, such as volcanoes, but pollution is largely caused by humans. Loss of types of ecosystems such as the rainforest, jungle, polar, and aquatic, to name a few, are some of the worldwide environmental repercussions that could occur. This can be a major problem because when you think about it the environment around us helps us build everything we have like buildings from wood, rocks, and other things, then jewelry is made out of stuff like silver, gold, diamond, etc. There could also be major changes in weather like acid rain which could harm the water even more and decay building.
Another important issue is global climate change, which can have a significant impact on us because climate change can affect when the sessions occur, as well as temperature changes in locations that can hurt it, such as Antarctica. Air pollution has a variety of consequences for crops and trees. Ground-level ozone has been linked to lower agricultural crop and commercial forest yields, decreased tree seedling growth and survival, and increased plant vulnerability to disease, pests, and other environmental stresses (such as harsh weather). Land animals can be harmed by water pollution because bears forage for fish on occasion, and if they don't have any, they will stray when hibernating. The water can also harm the aquatic life by killing the fish from waste or hunting and if we do that then we will lose the aquatic environment, the fishes thrive in the environment and if they go then the environment will die out with them.
An example of a polluted city would be Los Angeles, California. I say this because when you look at California compared to other cities it has bad fumes that harm the oxygen and really high temperatures that can harm people
Overall, the people who took my survey seemed to have a basic understanding of pollution, its impacts, and why it should be avoided. Industrial factories, with their gases that reach out to the layers of the atmosphere and destroy it, are some global sources that might impact the air. Fossil fuel is a huge problem for the environment since it burns a lot of it, leaving smoke and fumes in the air that can affect the environment. Another example would be fishermen who, in the process of catching fish, occasionally leave behind all kinds of equipment that they dumped into the water because it broke, endangering the water. Then there are also chemical factories that will pollute the ocean.
This petition will make sure that all these problems will be taken care of. I have come up with some solutions to all of these problems but I will also need your help to achieve this and bring more solutions out. For water pollution, I can think of things like starting an organization to help pick up trash every 2 or 3 days and the organization will try its best to stop businesses from dumping trash and chemicals into the water. Making sure that fishermen pick up all the wires and stuff that they used to catch fish so that it doesn’t harm anything else in the water is another way. For air pollution, I can think of things like changing the motor vehicle industry into a fully electric one so that no gas would be needed and no fumes would be released. Then there is also fossil fuel that is being burnt up for oil and other resources which we can’t stop but reduce the usage of fossil fuels.
We are already stopping this by trying to change the motor vehicle industry because gas is a major consumption of fossil fuel and we can also reduce the use of fossil fuel by using other energy sources like solar or wind. This will all take a huge amount of help but with every member that we get; we get closer and closer to our goal of making the world a more eco-friendly place.
