Stop Work Order

We, the residents of the Laurel Canyon Corridor (the many neighborhoods accessed via and/or impacted by the traffic on Laurel Canyon Blvd) support the appeal filed on July 28th by Jamie T. Hall and the Channel Law Group on behalf of the Laurel Canyon Association and the surrounding hillside communities regarding 2239 Laurel Canyon Blvd.
We believe that the permits for project at 2239 Laurel Canyon Blvd were issued in error. We believe this project violates the Retaining Wall Ordinance (2005). This project is no longer a "by right" development and requires a variance and consideration by a zoning administrator.
Please review the appeal and supplemental appeal justification letter immediately and issue a stop work order on this project.
