Contact the Los Angeles County Supervisors and say THANK YOU for all of their support in Stopping the Whittier Oil Project.
On Wednesday May 20, 2015 the Whittier oil project is going back to court. This time its regarding the appeal that was filed by the City of Whittier and the oil companies after their court case loss on June 6, 2013.
Once again the County will be there defending Prop "A" so they can Stop the oil project. On October 29, 2013 by a 5/0 vote the Supervisors voted not to release the land from Open Space Status.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has remained committed to stopping the oil project. Let them know how much you appreciate their commitment and efforts. Also, thank them again for voting not to release the land from Open Space Status.
If Prop "A" fall so could similar propositions throughout the State of California and possibly the County. This will affect all of us.
