Every day, I bike to Mountain View High School from my house on Altamead Dr, but on my voyage home, I have to cross the busy street of Grant, where there is no cross walk. Every day, I’m sure several blach students also take this route to get to school, having to cross where there is no crosswalk. A few people have attempted to find alternate ways around this, such as biking on the wrong side of the road, or simply cutting across quickly, but these are dangerous methods.  I am sure that several other students and I would greatly benefit from the addition of a crosswalk or traffic light at this intersection.
