I want Lorna Jane to stop the excessive use of plastic when packaging their online orders.

Being a business that was built in Queensland I would like to think that the Lorna Jane staff are passionate about protecting the earth and preventing excessive plastic ending up in landfill and our waterways.

There is no need to package individual products in plastic bags to ship out to customers in another plastic post bag.

I understand that the move has been to ensure customers believe that they are receiving a garment that has never been worn or tried on by any other person. I think the average Australian would get behind me and say that they would prefer less plastic than the guarantee of their clothing potentially tried on by one person.

The bags that they are sent in aren't even recyclable in your regular recycling bin.

Their website has the following promise: "OUR PROMISE
Our drive for a fitter future is not just about producing the best Activewear, it's also about ensuring that our communities, planet and environment are healthy too."

I think if this was true then they would cease excessive plastic use!
