Gun violence is a serious problem and we should put an end to this. Everyday people are getting shot and Chicago has one of the highest crime rates in America. Gangs are also a big part of this problem. The more gangs we can get rid of, the less people that will get shot. Everyday when people watch the news there is always at least one person that got shot or is missing, it is depressing to watch. There are ways we can solve this problem. One way is to decrease the production of guns, another way is to have stricter laws. There are many more ways these were just a few examples. All I am asking is to change these laws and make it less accessible to purchase a gun and when they do make sure that they are mentally stable, know how to use it, and has a safe or a good secretive locked up place where they can store it. This will save many people's lives. Thank you so much!
