November 22, 2019 was a horrible day. My niece Yasmine Parker car was found on fire with her body in the backseat in the 1400 block of West Farragut in the Andersonville neighborhood here in Chicago,Il. On December 4, 2019
Detective Bruno notifies the family that Yasmine’s dental records were a positive match, to the woman who our family prayed was not our beloved Yasmine.

December 22,2019 marked one month of Yasmine’s murder. But it’s still November 22,2019 for our family because the family has constantly called and left messages for,

Detective Bruno to no avail he has yet to return the phone calls to her mother and father and other concerned family members. We are asking everyone to call Area North Bureau of Detective’s violent crimes unit at 312-744-8261 ext 4291 and ask why they are not giving the family information, when they promised that it will be a thorough investigation. We know no more than what we did a month ago.

We are requesting Mayor Lori Lightfoot to look into Yasmine’s case. The detectives are not following up and valuable evidence is at risk for being lost. This is Mayor Lightfoot city and a horrible crime happened here in Chicago we are asking for higher government to step in. Yasmine was a bright young woman with a bright future ahead of her and a very beautiful daughter she leaves behind.

We are also asking family and friends to send a certified letter demanding a follow up and you are free to discuss anything else you know on Yasmine Parker’s homicide case to

Chicago Police Headquarters
