I'm signing because he was a hugely influential figure in the 20th century and it would be a tragedy if the legacy of his knowledge and skill was to be lost with the destruction of his papers.

The destruction of any composer's records and manuscripts is not something we can just undo. We need to be proactive about preserving history, not destroying it because of inconvenience.
