I too am a community medicine graduate, and these changing of norms by the mci is already aggravating the job crisis.. This decision is in favour with self financing and government medical colleges, who can make more profit while depriving the job of graduates..

Its not possible to run the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum in community medicine where are major portion of the curriculum including postgraduate examinations are held in the feild practice area of RHTC and UHTC. The required skills of affective and psychomotor domains along with communication skills which are very pertinent in the turmolied doctor patient relationship is also taught in the community levels at these centres. So, I urge earnestly to restore the posta for the betterment of both medical education.
