Hi. I am a mother of 5, I am starting this petition for anyone that has children. We, as women, know how hard it is to have to get up & go back to work so early after being home with our newborn baby/babies for 6 weeks. It’s never easy. & I feel as though us mothers need longer maternity leave with pay from our jobs. & especially if we have to have a cesarean! Maternity leave length for all mothers, foster mothers & adoption mothers, should be for 6 months to a year & WITH PAY! Not using our PTO time either! It’s not fair that other country can easily give mothers months/years of maternity with pay with no problem! So if you are a mother, or plan to be one!
