Long Tech Network Limited, the developers of “Rise of Empire: Ice and Fire,” have been treating users unfairly.

The company has been biased towards a specific alliance throughout the history of the game - alliance TIA. The said alliance historically was accused it contained users that received codes from the developers/game, who have exploited in order to gain advantage. Following past investigation following complains by APPLE, the said users were banned/removed from game. At the same time, the said alliance always benefited from certain events/bugs occurring magically at critical moments, obstructing the fair competition in the game (refer to previous petitions made with 800+ signatures). Whenever this alliance is in difficult situations, things magically just happen.

So on 4/12/2021, and after TIA was being constantly in their harder season ever being constantly beaten, MAGICALLY after a 4+ years history of playing “ROC” event with structure hitting out of war times being allowed, the game decided to impose a new rule (after the season started) not to allow it. And which alliance’s buildings were constantly being hit for 3 days before the announcement? TIA.

We are fine with changing rules of an event, that is part of the game. However rules cannot be changed during the event because certain alliance suffers. As a reminder, in the 4+ years of the game, many players complained about this rule, but nothing was changed, and the answer of the game was that they can’t change rules during a season (this holds true for many other bugs, issues in game, or matchmaking unfairness).

We consider this change of rules while an event has started for already 2 weeks ago UNFAIR and UNREASONABLE, as well as REALLY SUSPICIOUS of misconduct by game (as this game misconduct occurred in the past).

Many users have spent thousands of dollars individually from in-app purchases in order to prepare for these events. If rules change, to fit a specific participant, it has detrimental effect on the users. Furthermore, if a refund is requested, the user is penalized heavily in-game, with the threat of the account being closed.

As users who enjoy the game, we hope to raise enough awareness for Long Tech Network Limited to change the way they conduct business and allow for a fair and evenly matched gaming environment.
