We are fighting for skating, hockey, and ringette coaches to be allowed to continue their jobs regardless of vaccination status. Small clubs are being forced to let coaches go due to the facility mandate put in place by health units across Southwestern Ontario. This in turn affects our children. Without the coaches, we are forced now to scramble to hire coaches or cut programs, therefore telling families their children can no longer skate/play. These coaches are faced with losing their income to help support their families. This is not right, noones job should be staked on a vaccine.
