Mainly to avoid rubbish and noise pollution, and grass damage.

Green spaces are a key element in securing mental health for an urban community, often those living in poverty or in densely populated conditions. It is a strategic failure to commercialise them, jeopardise nature, and trash the peace. Come on Lambeth. You're better than this.

I am concerned about noise, disruption to wildlife and plants, overcrowding of an already busy park, problems with rubbish management which is already not ideal at the weekends and impact on parking and traffic

Not only is this awful for residents and also users of the park, but how terrible for those trying to work and get well in hospital. This is totally inappropriate. It is a PUBLIC park.

A park is a place for quiet reflection, for outdoor exercise, a sense of peace and space. This proposal directly conflicts with these aims, the noise and smell produced would be intolerable for nearby residents and for patients in King’s College hospital. The commercialisation of parks is anathema to their intended use.

5 months is excessive for residents to put up with so much noise nuisance. Plus it’s a public park for the public to use not as a money generating venue for private businesses

Bad idea, the park cannot accommodate this bad idea taking up a large area of this precious London green space.
Why should residents have to put up with this?
Maybe if this local authority gave up it's Citizens Assembly for climate change costing £90 million, they wouldn't feel the need to raise cash elsewhere.

This is an unacceptable intrusion in the lives of local residents. One week of it would be oppressive, but this is completely unacceptable.

Any party like this is hugely disruptive but five months is way too long, I cannot imagine how it can even be under consideration for that amount of time.
