Daisy Thomas started this petition to Representative Lois Frankel and

In November 17, 2010, I was indicted for conspiracy to commit arm robbery; robbery through use of physical violence; an aiding or abetting the using, carrying and brandishing of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence. In the offense a hair salon was robbed by a women and two men wearing a full facial covered mask and gloves. They demanded money, jewelry, and credit cards. A video used as evidence captured the entire robbery which showed no one was hurt or injured. I was not apart of this robbery, nor any other robbery. I took my case to trial because I did not commit this crime and I could not admit to a crime I did not commit, even with a plea offer. Please believe me; I did not know my codefendant (Rykeith Levatte) committed this robbery until I was arrested. The people that robbed the hair salon are my cousins' and the woman involved was my cousin's girlfriend. I feel that I was linked to this crime due to my history of credit card fraud and because I did not accept a plea deal for a crime I did not commit. Rykeith gave the names of the people involved in the robbery to the government. He was offered a plea deal to involve me into this crime. The true criminals was never indicted nor questioned. Please understand, I could not accept a plea to a crime I did not commit.

I'm asking you to sign my petition because for the last 8 1/2 years, I have been in prison and my family have been too. I missed out on so much of my kids lives its unexplainable my incarceration has taken a toll on my kids. I left when my daughter was 12 and son 14. They are now 20 and 22 years old. The woman that left them all those years have flourished into a phenomenal woman. That woman is me, Daisy L. Thomas. I have accomplished so much things since my incarceration has taken place. My incarceration has impacted my family tremendously good and bad. During my whole 8 years at Federal Bureau of Tallahassee,  I have no disciplinary record. I am an over achiever, ambitious, independent, handworker, strong and a mother. I have maintained a good employment with references. I have also taken advantage of an numerous of programs to be a better person and productive member of society . If I was given a second chance into society I would help my daughter with her non-profit organization, Real Estate Agent, catch up with my children and my parents. I've spent years without them. PLEASEE PLEASEEE PLEASEE SIGN MY PETITION, IF NOT FOR MY SAKE FOR MY FAMILY SAKE. I MISS MY CHILDREN THE MOST. THANK YOU !
