Mr. Barnett is a horrible teacher. There are many incidents in his classroom, but the staff members or principal's don't do anything about this. Many 7th graders go to his class everyday and don't learn much from it. There are reports from students in his class and that he doesn't teach his students, he just plays a video and expects his students to work on their school Chromebooks. According to his students, they say that he assigns, "4 or 5 Khan Academy lessons, more than 1 Hour of DreamBox a day and usually three times a week he assigns 2 to 3 pages of math homework." They also stated that on a Thursday, he assigned 5 pages of math homework. This may just seem like this teacher assigns lots of homework, but there is much more that this teacher does. Some students that are in his class claimed that found him playing video games and just sitting on his chair. Mr. Barnett doesn't answer emails from any of his students. One student sent him 10 emails, according to him and he hasn't replied at all. The highest grade that a person got in Mr. Barnett's class was a B. We asked many people and the highest grade that a person got was a B. If we can get lots of signatures, this man can be fired and replaced by a better teacher, who wants and cares about helping their students succeed so that they can get a good career in the future.
