Vince Mollica started this petition to Local Residents and

Say yes to supporting a local business.

Due some recent feedback we understand that there have been concerns with our pending application for a restaurant liquor license for The Roast Office Café. We would like to take this opportunity to provide you with as much information as we can to hopefully allay any fears you may have from signing our petition.

As you may know we are a small, locally owned, community oriented business with a focus on providing exceptional service to our neighbours. We are acutely aware of our proximity to residential premises and are sensitive to the impact our business has to the surrounding community. Our current lease allows us to trade until 10 pm with the option to BYO alcohol. However, we have no desire to turn our little cafe into a bar/pub. We also have families to get home to and lives to live outside work!

As a small cafe with a focus on coffee and food, what we hope to be able to provide is an opportunity for our local patrons to enjoy a glass of wine or beer along with simple food (antipasto/cheeseboard etc.) on their way home from work. We intend to trade 1 to 2 days per week in the early evening (until approx 8pm). We would also like the option for our friends and neighbours that join us for our dining nights to purchase wine or beer by the glass rather than having to BYO as they currently do.

We welcome any comments or feedback and are always free to talk to you if you would like further clarification so please drop by and ask for Vince. sincerely,
