My name is Robert Duffy from North Road Dipton lily Gardens in Stanley County Durham I'm writing this petition to yous regarding a issue with our public transport in our area 
I had finished work last night at 8pm I work in Stanley . I went for my bus as I always do when I finish at that time. I waited in Stanley bus station for a bus back home for nearly 3 hours and not one bus had turned  up. If you think that is bad a elderly neighbour of mine was also waiting for the same bus.  He is in  his 70s and had been waiting from 7.30pm he was cold scared and worried he wouldn't get home. There were lots of school kids in the bus station drinking and smoking and were very loud which made my neighbour very upset In the end after waiting nearly 3 long hour's we got a taxi home. Most people probably think why didn't they do that early. Public transport is there to serve the public and to make sure we get to where we need to be.   We need to get something done about Go North  East busses we have always had a problem with busses in our area and now its time to act. I've spoke to a few people in my area through today and they are angry and upset because thery had waited nearly 1 hour or 2 hours for a bus to turn up which a elderly lady missed her very important doctors appointment about her health we have had issues with go north east over the pass few years about the service thery provided now thery have change the times and the location of were the busses go to from our area there is NOW ONLY 1 BUS THAT COMES OUR WAY and if that doesn't come or if its late  then is a problem especially with our elderly people who rely on that service to do there shopping we need to act now and get the service we deserve so please help me by signing this petition in support for our community thank you
