We are a group  of West High School students in Government trying to get more crosswalks on Belle Terrace for West High School, James Curran Middle School, and Munsey Elementary school for students, staff and parents .We are studying local problems, how they are dealt with by government, and how citizens can participate in their government. On Belle Terrace there is one crosswalk and three intersections. We feel like there is a multitude of students who Jaywalk which endangers students and interferes with the flow of traffic which can cause accidents. We plan to take our petition to City council.
