Im sure you have heard about the the two car collision on Loxley lane and holly lane Willislock on Sunday 29th September around 2pm.

I was the second person to arrive on the scene acting as First Aid unfortunately one local lady who was a passenger in one of the vehicles died on the scene, as you can imagine this collision has had a major effect on the people involved as well as us the help on the scene, the farm who’s land it keeps happening on and the local community

As a local myself there is a lot of accidents that happen at the cross roads and many of time people drive over the cross roads with out stopping and looking or don’t simply know till the last minute that its there, locals have tried to get something sorted on that road weather it be chicanes/ speed humps etc but now something needs to be done not only has a local lady's life been lost unnecessary but now it has cost a young lad a life punishment of having to live with that awful regret for the rest of his life.

As I have stated the locals have been fighting for something to be done for years and the council have never took any of the complaints up

So surely it is now time to act as this cross roads has cost lives in the past as well as the spoken incident but to try and eliminate the cost of another life in the future
