Tracey Dengate started this petition to Local Council and
FUN 4 U at Helensburgh Public School is about to come up for tender. This service is currently owned, operated and staffed by local people, who live in our community. It is very possible without our support that this will no longer be the case, as almost all OOSH centres that have recently come up for tender, have been acquired by large corporations, which are not Australian owned.
There is currently NO appeals process so once a tender is awarded it can not be reversed. It would be a great shame to lose our last locally owned OOSH centre.
To voice your support for the current local owners/operators. Please sign this petition so it can be submitted to our local State Member of Parliament Mr Lee Evans.
