Cliffs-end is full of a variety of ages including teens and pre-teens. With the increase of house hold game appliances kids are not spending enough time outside and a skate park could potentially encourage kids to leave the house more and get some well needed exercise. As residents in Cliffsend, a lot of us have noticed an increase of teenagers and children showing potential interest in Skating. This is something we love to see as it’s something rather fun and healthy for the youth, especially with socialisation. The problem with this however is that there are no good skating opportunities (or opportunities that involve fun healthy micro-transport) in cliffsend. Having a specific place for skateboarding could also move teens away from neighbourhood areas and lower inconvenience for residents as well as bring a sense of Youth and progressive thinking to the area
