My daughter is 7 years old and cannot stand on her own.  When she needs to be changed or go to the restroom, we are often very disappointed in what little options are available.  We often have to go back out to our vehicle to change her in the back.  This is not only frustrating, but humiliating as people walk by in the parking lot.  She deserves the dignity that so many others take for granted.  There are many children and adults that have this same problem.  We shouldn’t have to leave a place of business because we or our children have to use the restroom or face humiliation because we require a little more assistance.  It’s time that businesses address this issue and accommodate restrooms for everyone.
