Florence Montassier started this petition to Local Authorities

Albion is a true haven of peace, very much appreciated for its peacefulness, its quality economic and residential development, eased by a few committed economic players.

Its last population census dating back from 2011 and listing 2,815 habitants at that time, has most likely doubled by now if not more, with its recent development.

Where on the one hand some close cities such as Tamarin and Riviere Noire enjoy a lot of facilities: 2 post offices, a fire station, a hospital open 24 hour a day, 3 banks, a few supermarkets and many shops, just to mention a few where on the other hand Albion seems to suffer from a lack of facilities to sustain its growth (Only 1 ATM, small supermarkets, no bank, no fire station, a social welfare center only open at certain times in the afternoon), Albion desperately needs a post office to start with.

Registered letters been sent to Petite Riviere does not make it easy for elderly people, disabled ones or simply inhabitants having no car to drive all way long there to fetch theirs parcels and letters.

Not to mention that local post offices deliver many services to its local populations and tourists and even if we do not individually use every single service, we may not forget that the population of Albion is very diverse as well as its needs and these services would bring much comfort and convenience to its inhabitants.

So please sign and share to have a post office in Albion because every single small step matters!
