I would like to show Local Agency Formation Commission for San Bernardino County that oversees Daggett Community Service District Board Members the support we have for Daggett Volunteer Fire Department personnel before Covid-19 scare and closure, thus shutting down our entire department without getting the facts.  Only 1 member was infected not all members. Facts are important! 

Shortly after, our department closure was based on "circumstances," posted on two  public websites - Facebook and www.daggettcsd.com 

We don't know what these "circumstances" are but Daggett CSD shortly after then commenced to start a hiring processes and interviews which was also posted publicly on both websites. 

This is unacceptable. Although Daggett community is supported by local fire agencies at this time to respond to service calls, there is new and perfectly good equipment sitting in a station with healthy fire personnel standing by as before --available ready to respond to calls for service. Calls for service has taken longer times now and that affects the Daggett residents when there is a perfectly good station and had perfectly good personnel running it.

We need to return to reopen DVFD as it was before with all original personnel before Covid-19 scare especially during a State and National Emergency!
