In Ontario, citizens do NOT have the option to use their child's education funds as they see fit! Each child in Ontario receives between $10,000-$13,000 allocated to the public education system, whether their child is enrolled in public education or not!

In the United States, parents have lobbied for education vouchers that are provided to parents to allocate funds where they feel fit.  Even homeschooling parents, should have this money available to be able to provide superior and supplemental opportunities for learning. 

In Ontario, we have 82 school boards that are given Provincial funds and all top-heavy management. By embracing new education options, it would save the province billions annually and assist all families in making choices for their kids and their future.

Please sign and share this petition if you are in agreement with PARENTS receiving their child's education tax money so that they have options (financially backed) to educate their kids as they see fit, not the other way around.
