LNYDP: Stop Using Live Animals!

London's New Years Day Parade (LNYDP) is one of, if not the, biggest and best New Years Day parades in the world.

With performers, acrobats and marching bands coming from all over the world to entertain the public, what's not to love?

Oh, yeah, maybe the exploitation of animals??

Each year in the parade, many animals (such as horses, ponies and donkeys) are used purely as entertainment props and commodities. It's 2018 now, this needs to stop!

These animals are put under extremely stressful conditions walking through loud streets full of shouting crowds, really no place for an animal.

Just last Monday, in the 2018 parade, one horse was seen to have collapsed during the parade and was laying in the middle of the road. Thankfully, the horse was okay, but next time it could be worse!

Please help call on LNYDP to avoid the use of animals in their 2019 parade!
