Stop the Liverpool Zip Wire

0 have signed. Let’s get to 2,500!

The proposed Zip wire from St John's Beacon to Liverpool Central Library will destroy the oasis of calm in our city centre which is St John's Gardens; dishonour the people who died for our Country who are remembered there and ruin the visage of a Grade 1 listed building.

Liverpool City Centre is not a funfair. That part of Liverpool is a vital part of our cultural heritage and we need to protect its appearance and its buildings. This zip wire will put visors off from going to the Museum; Central Library and Art Gallery. It will create noise and disturbance in an area that people wish to use for quiet relaxation and study.

We are asking Liverpool City Council to stop this project and maintain the integrity of the historical offer of our City.
