The site has significant environmental value and is a unique example of an intact wetland ecosystem in Liverpool. The entire site includes 10 hectares of prime koala habitat.
There is already approval for one house and there are significant concerns about the potential for further development to take place.
I am committed to protecting this unique piece of the Liverpool’s environment from further development and will be moving a motion to that affect at the upcoming October Council Meeting.
