Libraries are one of the few services left where one doesn't have to commit to a end-user agreement to access knowledge.

I can't drive so walk to this library as it is close to where I live. and the staff there are so nice and helpful. I feel very comfortable using this library. Please don't close it down.

Libraries offer good programs for new mums. It is an oportunity for them to meet other mums and network as well as introduce their child to reading.

I grew up in Goonellabah - I never thought that I would have to sign a petition to save a local public library. Libraries are one of the few really free public assetts available to those with few other resources. I know that It would be difficult for residents in that area to access other public libraries. Keep this library open.

Libraries are so important to our children, they need to be enriched with books, encouraged with reading and learn a love for adventure and exploring...which can all start with libraries before they start school. Save our libraries for our children...they are a beautiful environment to be in... I luv my library...coming home with a book for family members is like receiving a gift :)

Libraries provide valuable assistance to small (and large) communities. Not just for people to borrow books but as a place to meet other like minded people and learn new skills. the closing of libraries is a small minded approach ro saving money.

It is a SIN to close a library. Reading is THE most important thing to encourage in our society

Public libraries are the people's university that provide free access to resources and technology particularly for people with low incomes. They are the first promoters of early literacy and facilitate lifelong learning.
