Ever since the outbreak has began, we were instructed to maintain social distancing. Citizens should quarantine to avoid the threat of outspreading the virus . when being disclosed to public, a maneuver of using face mask and sanitizer is required ; this helps to flatten the curve and control the pandemic. As a result of this operation , education is now at a pause for 6 months.

Many students believe that exams should be cancelled due to inefficient online schooling and lack of devices for some students who could not attain the same education as others and were left behind.Through our past encounter with online schooling , we find it uncomprehending and slow . which is not pleasant when we have lots of revisions to do . Also including some subjects changing because of the different session. Some schools are now reopening but they are not safe enough. The lack of transportation is also a massive complication.some students stated that the time they take to leave and arrive from schools takes all day long and they do not get enough time to revise at home. This would be very troublesome during the exams.

Moreover, the cases are still increasing and many other countries are facing other crisis such as financial crisis leading people to lossing thier jobs and homes .explosion in Beirut and the floods in east Africa ,destroying houses and schools  . This is not a situation where students are mentally ready to take their exams. Some scientists predicted that a second wave will hit on late Autumn, so we really do not know what to expect.

Last but no least ,There is a chaos out there. We are losing family members, our homes and yet online education was not successful at all . It is really unfair to take our exams facing more challenging obstacles than the once we did on May/June session.Once again , many students believe that exams should be cancelled for our safety .

yours sincerely , year 11 students.
