We bought a mobile home in August 2012, without being told that it had been a former methamphetamine lab just months prior to us purchasing it. We were told after purchasing it that it was unlivable and would need to be cleaned. We are out the money for the mobile home and it could cost up to $10,000 or more to get it cleaned and livable. We do not want another family to have to suffer what we have gone through. Living in a former methamphetamine lab that has not been properly cleaned and tested, can lead to severe health problems and even death. With your help, we can get the law changed, which currently only requires disclosure of methamphetamine labs if it is a Permanent structured home, so this does NOT include mobile homes.
