Petitioning HR Director Lisa Bisaccia

CVS Pharmacy To Pay Disaster Pay for Hurricane Harvey Employees

CVS pharmacy has decided not to pay any hourly colleagues any disaster pay for hurricane Harvey which was brutal on Texas and is still an active storm. Most other companies such as Starbucks and Walmart have stood by their employees and delivered the clear message that you will not be forgotten. We're not asking  for special pay above and beyond what we were scheduled. Only for the time that we wanted to be at work helping our patients.

CVS has a motto for employees: "Who's Your who?" This reminds us that someone always cares about a person and that we must account for results of actions we take. Please stand true to this motto and don't let the employees down.

CVS has a disaster fund which we were all given packets. In order to be eligible for this you must first exhaust all other avenues such as a 401k loan, "community resources", sale our stock, or use friends and family. Why ruin our stocks or retirement just to be charged additional penalties for this?

CVS is a great company. Don't let this tarnish the reputation with your employees.
