Licencing of Pulse Music Complex
This petition had 63 supporters
Pulse Music Complex is a band venue , function room , restaurant and entertainment complex situated in the old Appleby tavern.
We intend to support the public in the re opening of this building and have made constant efforts with the city council licencing inspector to do so.
Liquor Licencing had been continually held up since october, and now they want to hold a licence hearing in April , (the firing squad) where i stand in front of the commitee and have to plead my case and cost thousands of dollars in legal fees, let alone keeping the building going. Pulse was due to open in February!
THEY are the reason there is no new venues in Invercargill!
The cost alone is enough to put someone off let alone constant scrutiny, stupid accusations, ridiculous objections and months worth of waiting.
I have provided the licencing inspector with every requirement and have been completely transparent in every aspect Of the licencing process. I have also worked in many licensed premises in the past and completed my Liquor licence course. My police record is Clean with no alcohol related incidents.
The local residents, general public and I.l.t have also supported the opening and licencing of Pulse!
I urge you to Vent your frustrations directly to the licencing inspector at the city council also
New places will never open if this shit continues!!!
