Linfield University has left many students worried about what is to come this upcoming year. With many schools moving to full online schooling, students believe the reason Linfield has not announced remote education is because they want their students to still pay full tuition. Even with hybrid learning, where school is partially in person and partially remote, this is not the type education that is promised to be associated with the large tuition to attend.

This petition requests that Linfield lower their tuition for hybrid/online learning so students affected financially by this pandemic do not have to struggle to pay for an overpriced online education. Students at Linfield are not willing to pay this tuition for only housing, dining and student services to be open. In doing this, Linfield will show that they acknowledge the difference between physical and remote education and realize that many of the students at Linfield were affected financially by the pandemic.
