Dear LHS' Parents:

The time has come that we allow our children to represent their individuality and freedom. It was enough that freedom was taken from most our ancestors; now we are allowing the system to strip it from our children. 

Since the uniforms has been implement there hasn't been no decrease in student's disciplinary actions, no better performance academically, no decrease in expenses, etc. Uniforms doesn't PROVIDE a safer school. In all true, uniforms are extra funds buying a third unnecessary wardrobe after parents purchase church & regular clothes. It doesn't create equality or prevent students from bullying; it definitely doesn't stop In School Suspension or Suspension. It doesn't STOP teachers from labeling students in a bad way (this is form bullying by educators that has to stop). 

Yes a lot of professions wear uniforms however this was their choices. I wore in the military & healthcare, but those we were my choices. Let's get back to an appropriate dress code & gave our children's freedom & individuality privileges!
