We, the parents, staff, and community of the Lindbergh School District, support the District's Green Light Plan for the 2021-2022 school year. Our desire is the same as the goal of the District's plan: "...to make sure that full-time, in-person learning continues for all students in a safe, supportive and healthy environment districtwide. Ultimately,...to return to a normal school environment as soon as possible." For those reasons, and to ensure the safety of our students, teachers, staff, and community as a whole, we commend the decision to require masks for all students and staff on all District campuses and busses, regardless of vaccination status.

We appreciate and agree with the science and facts used by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to determine universal indoor masking is necessary to keep our schools safe, and to keep our kids in an in-person learning environment. Further, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends universal masking in schools and emphasizes the importance of masking to maintain in-person learning. We applaud the District for following these guidelines.

Thank you for working so hard and tirelessly, for making difficult decisions, and for continuing to serve our community with the standards of excellence we have come to expect, especially in these very challenging times.
