To Councillor Stokes of Lincolnshire County Council 

Isn't it about time that the constant traffic problems and hold ups caused by right turner's into McDonald's in Grantham is addressed,  it is now almost everyday that there are queues or gridlock at the Springfield road/ London Road junction. This gridlock also has effects further afield causing hold ups on Somerby Hill, Harrowby Road and Springfield Road affecting residents and Road users alike, blocking Springfield Road Bridge also inhibits traffic going towards Harlaxton Road due to the Traffic lights being set with no consideration for one directional delays. It is time that an island was installed to prevent traffic turning right into McDonald's and the Spar (which will be used if only one restricted) this should be funded by McDonald's as it is their position that has caused this constant issue.  

A more suitable location is now required for this drive in restaurant that has now outgrown it's location due the increase in traffic not considered when planning and passing this site.
