Lighthouse Learning Center has been issued a Ceasw to Operate because they cannot obtain a license. To obtain they must have an approved fire marshal inspection, which they received May 14, 2021

Not only does the closure of Lighthouse Learning Center effect the 51 children/40 families who attend the program, but also the community as a whole. The community, as well as the country, has struggled during the pandemic and are relying on a busy summer to recover. Heading into the tourist season, businesses are already struggling to find workers and shutting down a daycare will force many parents to stay home with their children instead of work, this included essential workers.
