Since lockdown, local youths have been using Melyn park much more often (the only large park in Neath east).

There is already a young kids park with slides but some football/rugby goalposts would make a massive difference to children of all ages. 

Likewise, the lack of lighting make the park unusable and unsafe after 4pm throughout the darker winter evenings. This would make the park so much safer for everyone and massively improve accessibility.

Outdoor activities are essential for the well-being of our local children. Especially after  such a long period of COVID restrictions. That's why this petition is now more relevant that ever.
