Our Petition goals are simple.
On Thursday afternoon, June 1st, 2017, Donald Trump made a drastic and dangerous decision to pull out of the Paris Climate Deal.
It was considered a poor move to make, as pollution has been a growing problem in recent years. And is considered a major threat to the Earth by many scientists, politicians, and organizations.
However, many states here in the United States have began to protest against Trump's choice. For example... the city hall of Boston was lit green Thursday night, and was seen as a form of protest of his decision. This is just one of many cities that have done this. Monuments like the One World Trade Center, The John A. Wilson Building, And the Kosciuzko Bridge are just a few examples of structures and monuments draped in a green light.
What I, Dannuel Rivera, And Sean Kaifer, ask the Mayor of Holyoke, Alex Morse is that he allows City Hall to be lit green in protest of Donald Trumps audacious move to withdraw from the Paris Agreement.
