No Nuts unless they are properly packed and out of reach from children.

My 2-year-old daughter has recently been diagnosed with a Cashew Nut allergy, she already has a peanut allergy. As everyone knows, Nut allergies can be deadly. However, when shopping in my local Lidl store I noticed that they have two large baskets filled with Cashew nuts and Pistachio nuts, both baskets are on the bottom shelf and are easily accessible for children. Do not mistake my concern for me not taking care of my child whilst shopping. I am completely responsible for everything that my child does, however, other shoppers who casually use the pick’N’mix of nuts are not so responsible. Hence nuts on the floor and scattered everywhere. That’s all I want is to be able to shop without worrying that my toddler will pick up a stray nut which can cause an anaphylactic shock, which has led to death in many cases for Nut allergy sufferers, and choking in children. Please sign and get Lidl to package nuts like everywhere else and take these ridiculous non-child friendly baskets away.
