I hold several LIC Policies, as do crores of Indians. In fact, we think LIC when we talk of Insurance. LIC is built upon the premium paid by these crores of existing policy holders.

LIC is coming up with a mega IPO this year.

I demand that all Policy Holders be allotted shares proportionate to the policy premium individuals pay / paid with whatever eligibility criteria the Board may come up with.

Current proposal of reserving a portion of the shares is no-brainer, cheap and insulting to the life-long loyalty the policy holders have shown towards LIC.

So, LIC Board should make rules to allot free shares to all LIC Policy Holders.
